The WVU track and field team will travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to compete at the High Point Team Challenge on Thursday, Feb. 11. Events are set to begin at 4 p.m. at the JDL Fast Track.

Junior Tony DeAngelo has been named the West Virginia University Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.

Junior Amy Cashin of the WVU track and field team was recognized for her strong performance in the 1,000-meter run at last weekend s Penn State National Invitational by the U. S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
